Stephanie & Scott’s Houston Wedding

Stephanie and Scott were married at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring, TX followed by the reception at her parents home in the Woodlands. While the wedding was itself a beautiful event, the reception was one of the best we have had the pleasure of photographing this year. The home was amazing. The food was catered by Travola Bistro & Cantina, a local favorite Italian restaurant and the dancing and events were expertly coordinated by Sound Connections. Everyone had a great time and we wish Stephanice and Scott the best as they start their lives together in Dallas.

Cindy & Ben’s Sabine Street Bridge Engagement

Cindy and Ben got together for their engagement pictures at the Sabine Street bridge close to downtown Houston. We got lucky with the weather which started to clear up just as we got there. Cindy and Ben are getting married at the St. Philip Presbyterian Church on San Felipe in April followed by the reception at the beautiful Brenner’s Steak House on the Bayou. They met while in college in Iowa and currently reside in Houston.

Marina’s Texas A&M Bridal Session

Marina and Joe are getting married later this year so Tracy and I met her on campus at Texas A&M for her bridal portraits. A&M is where she and Joe met so it seemed only natural we hit some of the traditional spots around campus. She wanted to be sure we also shot some fun images so we headed over to the Dixie Chicken to mix bridals with the bar. It was a great day and Marina is a beautiful bride.

Marina and JC’s College Station Engagement

Engagement Portraits in College Station by Jerry B Smith Photography

Marina and JC met while attending Texas A&M University so it seemed only fitting that we go back to Bryan/College Station for their engagement pictures. Since my daughter Tracy graduated from A&M and now lives and works in College Station, she met with the couple in downtown Bryan to shoot the session. Downtown Bryan is a great area to walk around taking pictures and combined with such a cute couple like Marina and JC, can only result in great engagement pictures. Hayley and Austin’s Wedding at West University United Methodist Church

Jerry B Smith – Wedding Photographer in Houston

Hayley and Austin were married at the West University United Methodist Church followed by the reception at the Courtyard on St. James. These are two of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of working with and we had a great time with their wedding. Every detail was beautiful from her dress to the exit in a 1939 Rolls Royce. One of my favorites is the shot of her niece coming down the isle to deliver the bouquet of flowers to Hayley after gathering each flower from the women in the family. I love the concentration on her face! Thanks to my daughter Tracy and her friend Fran who helped capture these images. Their album is a beautiful 9.5×13 layout from GraphiStudio and here is the final design.
