Shanta and Ken’s Engagement at Sabine Street Bridge

Shanta, Ken and Ken's daughter met me at the Sabine Street Bridge one sunny morning for some family and engagement portraits. This was the first time I actually met them since our negotiations were over the phone but we quickly got to know each other and had a wonderful time around the bridge and in the parks along Allen Parkway. I look forward to the wedding in March.

Mary and Alex’s St Helens Catholic Church Wedding

Mary and Alex were married last month at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Pearland. Mary looked beautiful in her dress and veil that was handmade by her aunt. She comes from a close family who attended from as far as the Philippines to attend the wedding. A beautiful woman with beautiful family and friends. Alex and the guys took in a little basketball before the ceremony to loosen things up and my friends Kris Fulk and Sherman Hatton helped out with great pictures and support. Thanks guys and best of luck to the new couple!

Mission Sin Casa and Kurt House in Three Rivers, TX

This past weekend, my wife and I were invited to go to Three Rivers, TX with old friends to visit noted Texas historian, Kurt House and family and photograph the Mission they are building on their ranch. Kurt is well known for his knowledge of early Texas history and is the author of Hand Forged for Texas Cowboys. Kurt is also an avid gun collector and showed us some of his prized collection of handguns, rifles and shotguns going back to the colonization of Texas.  For dinner, we headed out to the ranch and Mission Sin Casa which he is building as a retreat in honor of his parents. An authentic 18th century Spanish mission in every detail, I couldn’t resist taking a few shots at sunset for his enjoyment. The others in this collection are details from an old shed behind the ranch house.

Kasey’s Senior Portraits in League City

I first met Kasey years ago when I had the pleasure of shooting her Quinceanera. We recently got together for her senior portraits and as you can see, she has grown into a beautiful young woman. Best of luck to her as she graduates high school and moves on to new adventures in college.

Zack and Laura’s Backyard Wedding in Houston

Sometimes the simple weddings are the most fun so when long-time friends asked me to photograph Zack and Laura’s backyard wedding, I jumped at the chance. I already met Laura at her bridal session so I knew she was ready to have a good time. Zack proved to be just as much fun and the combination of great people and beautiful weather made for a wonderful wedding. Best of luck to Zack and Laura and thanks to Jimmy and Sue for reaching out. You can see the rest of their pictures here.
