Jenna & Jason’s Country Wedding

Jenna and Jason hail from Caldwell Texas and you couldn’t have a more perfect country wedding than theirs. Sometimes you know when your around people who love and appreciate each other and it was obvious to Tracy and I that this was going to be a special occasion. The ceremony was a simple outdoors affair at one of the local ranches. Check out the room where Jenna got dressed. The guys had one just like it as their own man cave. After the wedding, we headed over to the church hall for a party that lasted well after sunset. Jenna’s Dad has a barbecue catering business so needless to say the food was abundant and tasted great. I had the pleasure of serving as Tracy’s second photographer since she booked this wedding which gave me a lot of freedom and a chance to enjoy the party more than I normally get to. Congratulations to Jenna and Jason and more can be seen in the client section.

Kathlyn & Nick’s Houston Wedding

Kathlyn and Nick were married at the beautiful Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church which happens to be one of the prettiest locations in Houston. Kathlyn is very active in the church and celebrated the occasion with her friends and church family. She and Nick love to ride bikes together and live close to trails downtown where we stopped on our way to the reception to bless the house. The reception was held at the restored Heights Fire Station with food and drink upstairs and the band below. The party went on until late in the evening and a good time was held by all.

Cindy & Ben’s Houston Wedding

We met Cindy in the morning at the Sheraton Suites in the Galleria where she and the girls were busy getting their hair and makeup together. When finished, it was off to St. Philip Presbyterian Church on San Felipe for the ceremony. The afternoon reception that followed was held at the beautiful Brenners on the Bayou . If you’ve never been there, the location is absolutely beautiful and the food fantastic. We had the restaurant to ourselves while coctails were served on the patio and dinner inside. I must say, thie staff was amazing and on top of everything. Ben took a new job in Chicago so wish them well as they head off on a new adventure!

Mary and Edward’s Houston Wedding

Mary and Edward were recently married at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Houston followed by the reception at the Marriott West Loop in the Galleria. Mary is a elementary school teacher and Edward is an officer in the Navy aboard a submarine.

Hayley and Austin’s Wedding at West University United Methodist Church

Jerry B Smith – Wedding Photographer in Houston

Hayley and Austin were married at the West University United Methodist Church followed by the reception at the Courtyard on St. James. These are two of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of working with and we had a great time with their wedding. Every detail was beautiful from her dress to the exit in a 1939 Rolls Royce. One of my favorites is the shot of her niece coming down the isle to deliver the bouquet of flowers to Hayley after gathering each flower from the women in the family. I love the concentration on her face! Thanks to my daughter Tracy and her friend Fran who helped capture these images. Their album is a beautiful 9.5×13 layout from GraphiStudio and here is the final design.
