Commercial Exteriors

I’ve found myself lately involved in a number of architectural assignments. I guess it is something I find new and challenging to my creative skills. I decided to get a little experience by creating a portfolio of commercial exteriors for marketing purposes using several of the shooting and processing techniques needed for the job. Here are a few retail centers I shot in the early morning to make best use of the morning sun using HDR imaging. Residential Interiors

Today’s real estate market is more competitive than ever requiring builders to have more than snapshots of properties for perspective clients to view online and in print. For this assignment, a local builder asked me to update their portfolio of interior layouts for marketing a new home. Here are a few of their favorites.Residential InteriorsResidential InteriorsResidential InteriorsResidential InteriorsResidential InteriorsResidential InteriorsResidential Interiors

Commercial Interiors

Shooting commercial interiors offers a host of challenges to the photographer. A wide angle lens is needed to capture the scene and careful attention is needed to avoiding or at least minimizing vertical shift and un-parallel lines. Add to that the need to combine interior with exterior lighting and it can be a real challenge. For this assignment, I was hired by a high-end apartment complex to show off their recently updated lobby interior for their website and print materials. Ana and Jon’s Amber Springs Wedding

Ana and Jon were recently married at the beautiful Amber Springs in Montgomery Texas. Ana is a Texas A&M graduate while Jon hails from the Univeristy of Texas so there was plenty of guests and family on hand representing these Texas rivals. It was a great time in a beautiful setting and we wish Ana and Jon a great life together.Amber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs WeddingAmber Springs Wedding

Lone Star Flight Museum

The wife and I spent a few days in Galveston and one of our stops was the Lone Star Flight Museum. Business was slow and we got lucky when they allowed us to go behind the ropes to see some of the planes and materials in work for future display. It was really impressive to see so much history in it’s natural state waiting for the preservationists to make them ready. I’m really hooked on HDR right now and thought it made these shots look even more dramatic. Be sure to check the place out on your next visit to Galveston.
